One of my crown jewels. This is the most decorated driving horse in the Friesian
breed right now. The number of wins this horse has had in the last 3 years is
astonishing.
Comming to me as a weanling, I would never have dreamed what he would
become. Even as a youngster he had a commanding presence. Esteban was born
in 2001. He is by the World Champion FPS stallion Wicher 334. His mother Ebony
WFF (ster mare) is by Barteld. He became a ster gelding at age three.
He began his driving career in 2007 and in that year had an impressive 25 our of 27
wins driving and an almost equal number of wins in hand. He finished 2007 as
USEF Grand Champion Friesian. He culminated 2007 by being nominated by the
USEF as one of the Farnham Platform finalists. He was one of only 5 horses
nominated across all breeds that year. In 2008 and 2009 he continued his winning
ways. He has been the number one driving horse for both USEF and IFSHA for
2007, 2008, and 2009.
He started his open ADS driving career this year and has already had 2 wins in 2
shows. He continues to be a source of fun and pride.
He is the half brother of Ivanhoe FQ our approved FPZV breeding stallion.
